Senior GSE and Government Claims Loss Analyst

Position Summary: The individual will be responsible for performing a detailed loss analysis on all loans where final claim proceeds have been received. Protects Company and Investor assets by determining the avoidable and unavoidable losses for each loan. Determines the root cause for all avoidable losses and makes recommendations for supplemental claims, bill backs to vendors and sellers. Works under general directions with substantial latitude and makes decisions involving the savings and losses to the company and investors aggregating the range of hundreds of thousands of dollars during a 1 year period. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identifies all loans where final claim proceeds have been received and performs a detailed loss analysis within 20 days of receipt of final claim proceeds.
