We are looking for a few professionals in the environmental, environmental chemistry, hazardous materials or related fields living and working in North America or Europe to write freelance articles for us.
Typical articles we are looking for will be between 700-1,000 words on environmental, environmental chemistry or hazardous materials related issues. We pay $0.20 U.S. per published word for articles and will provide each writer, whose article(s) we publish, with a bio page on EnvironmentalChemistry.com. Bio pages will include a brief write up about the author with curriculum vitae and contact information (if desired). Articles must be original, unpublished and the author must be able to transfer exclusive copyrights for article(s) with no encumbrances to us. All articles must include a bibliography.
Our editors will review and edit articles for technical accuracy and readability prior to publishing. Word count will be calculated using Microsoft Word and will be based on the final published article excluding bibliography. The author will have the final ability to approve edits to the article before it is published. Once the author has approved edits, the author will sign a copyright release and will be paid for the article.
Prior to reviewing, accepting and/or publishing any articles the author's qualifications to write on the given topic will be verified. If you are interested in writing articles for us, please provide us with your curriculum vitae and a brief description of the articles you would like to write for us. Please do not submit any articles until we personally invite you to submit articles.
Any prospective writer must have a post graduate degree (MS, PhD or potentially MFA), which we will verify. This degree needs to be in the environmental, chemistry, hazardous materials or health and safety related fields. Alternatively the writer must be able to demonstrate extensive professional experience in these fields.
