Drafter / Engineering Support

Job Opening: Drafter ReVit & Auto/CAD Blu Homes, a leading clean-tech company, is seeking qualified applicants for a Drafter - Revit & Auto/CAD & position in its Operations Group in Vallejo, CA. Blu engineers, manufactures, and sells high-tech, ecofriendly modular homes that are designed to take advantage of smaller spaces and intelligent design for more responsible ecological and economic footprints. This position will report directly to the Plant Engineer and will be part of the engineering team. The Drafter will be utilizing Auto/CAD Revit on a daily basis, and should be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities, as well as thrive in a fast paced environment. The position may also involve:o red lining, checking, and editing as required. o analyzing, editing and completing shop drawings for all phases of the manufacturing/construction process. o completing all necessary drafting and design for required tasks in Auto/CAD & Revit. Candidate must be very detail oriented and have a firm grasp of general code requirements, fire-rated assemblies, building design criteria and construction processes. This position requires intense day-to-day involvement throughout each phase of the design and manufacturing/construction process. JHT, a government contractor, is hiring a Senior Environmental Field Technician to support NOAA?s Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) in Muskegon, MI. GLERL is one of seven Federal research laboratories within the Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) line office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). GLERL was formed in 1974 to provide a focus for NOAA's environmental and ecosystem research in the Great Lakes and coastal marine environments. GLERL maintains the Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) program that integrates a core set of long-term observations on biological, chemical, and physical variables with process-based studies that will serve as the foundation for developing new concepts and modeling tools to explore impacts of various stressors (e.g., invasive species, climate change, nutrient loading, overfishing) on the ecosystem. Long-term observations of ecosystems, in combination with process studies, are necessary for understanding impacts of stressors on ecosystem structure and function, for the development of models and forecasting capabilities, and to inform management decisions. This position will help support GLERL?s research efforts at their Lake Michigan Field Station (LMFS).
